A torn meniscus 5 years ago prevented me from doing the things I'd love to do. I didn't want surgery, did PT to strengthen the surrounding muscles, but something would always happen to reinjure one or both knees; I'd have to stop running and hiking and would even feel it walking from one room to the next. An xray and MRI for both knees showed, with meniscus tears and aging, my knees were wearing out. I felt a difference with my first SoftWave treatment (driving was no longer painful) and then had a few more and was back to being active. Now I trail run, hike, take a high octane gym class with jumping and much more, and my knees feel great! It's back to my previous younger life!

About 15 years ago I suffered an extreme injury to my shoulder. Chiropractic care saved me from needing surgery but a space developed in my upper back and has been chronically tight ever since. This development only worsened with time as it caused my shoulder and neck area to remain chronically tight as well. The pain would sometimes travel down my arm all the way to my hand. I had several healthcare professionals assess the situation and attempt to alleviate my experience but even the best could only give temporary relief. Then I met the team at U.P. Kinetics. I had already heard of the technology they use but it was never made locally available to me so it remained cost prohibitive until UPK opened right in Marquette where I currently live. After just 2 treatments I was experiencing undeniable results. The spot in my back, which I had come too familiar with, is now nearly impossible to find and the associated areas have all begun to loosen up as well. I plan to continue treatment until it is gone forever and I'm thoroughly excited for living life now without this hindrance. So thrilled in fact that I began treatment with UPK on another area, my finger. I dislocated it several months ago playing basketball and it was at a plateau of healing.
